Brachychiton populneus

Brachychiton populneus (Kurrajong) is a hardy Australian native tree valued for its shade and drought tolerance. It features glossy green foliage and a sturdy trunk, often developing a characteristic bottle shape with age. Small cream bell-shaped flowers appear in summer, followed by decorative seed pods. Ideal for larger gardens, parks or streetscapes, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soils and copes well with dry conditions.
